    Great post :

I'm trying to make sense of one concept in the article...

When you mentioned that you had to add a user policy on the web application for one direct you have to do that for each user before they can access the web application?

I'm looking for a way that a users can log in with out being defined at the web application level...rather at the site collection...i'm still learning how this external access works so if i'm mis understanding the real theory to providing access to external partners could you point me in the right direction.

Thanks @Jacob - no I did that for the first one just to get in the first time. Then you can use that user to give the others permissions.

Hi... it seems your link is not working:

Building a simple web part myself and wanted to check how to read parameters from the webpart to make the queries based on that.

    Thx, Robert

    Hi Wictor,

A very interesting and informative article on claims. "". Its really helped to understand how the claims were encoded.

Could you please advice me how to add a user using email address to a share point security group from a .Net program? We are using the SiteMinder Agent for SharePoint and we are getting the claims in the following manner. i:0ǵ.t|ssom|

    Thank you in advance.
