Presenting at SharePoint and Exchange Forum 2013

Tags: Conferences, SharePoint 2013

imageFor the fifth (if I recall correctly) year in a row I’m proud to present that I will speak at the annual SharePoint and Exchange Forum 2013 conference, September 30th to October 2nd. This year Office 365 MVP Göran Husman not only managed to bring some of the top-notch speakers around SharePoint, Exchange, Lync and Office 365 to the conference, he also convinced them all to dress up in sailor suits and have the conference on a cruise ship between Stockholm, Sweden and Helsinki, Finland.

If you’re around and are in for a real adventure you should book your cabin (which are limited) on this cruise and learn from the best in the business. You will also have the great opportunity to see one of the largest and most beautiful archipelagos in the world:

Stockholm Archipelago

Personally I will present my Real world SharePoint 2013 architecture decisions session which will take you through a lot of the architectural decisions, not always mentioned on TechNet, you have to take when implementing a SharePoint 2010 or SharePoint 2013 solution.

[Update 2013-08-19] I will do a second session – JavaScript in SharePoint and not just for Apps. This is a session where we will look into how to leverage JavaScript in SharePoint 2013, use the CSOM, REST and other interesting features.

Bring your life vests…

Additionally to understanding of SharePoint, developer ought to have know-how of web services (WCF), active directory, WWF, exchange, design and also development of business intelligence, SharePoint workflow, SharePoint design and architecture and several more. Furthermore, familiarity with some other supported technologies that ought to get connected to SharePoint is useful. The understanding procedure of SharePoint is large compared to ASP.Net. It's basically ASP.Net and also the overall factor more out there such as SilverLight, JQuery, and more. SharePoint proffers significant adaptability in integration along with other software package.
